Hong Kong is blessed with food. But with that comes with high standards in how food is prepared and handled. Standards comes with a price, one that forces you to understand that starting a food business would need large amount of cash, and a heavy pocket to fulfill all the requirements and regulations needed to start and run any food business. Adding along with the high start-up cost, the inability to get yours hands on kitchen space, equipment, certifications and support; we saw how difficult it was for food businesses, especially early stage food entrepreneurs to survive.
But what we see is a simple solution.
With the vast movement of collaborative spaces working very well in other industries, sharing spaces and resources seems to the be the trend of the future.
