As part of the historic redevelopment of London’s most important fresh fruit and vegetable market, we plan to create Mission Kitchen’s flagship site as a central feature of New Covent Garden Market’s transformation.
The project will create London’s biggest kitchen in the heart of the City, with some of the UK’s best fresh produce suppliers on our doorstep. It will house more than 100 members working in every field of food, as well as offering professional training, business incubation and a programme of food culture events.

– LOUGHBOROUGH JUNCTION, BRIXTON –
As part of Lambeth Council’s LJ Works local workspace project, we are bringing our first Mission Kitchen site to the Loughborough Junction, 5 minutes down the road from the food, drink and cultural hub of Brixton.
The area is filled with hundreds of talented cooks looking to build a business or career in food, and Mission Kitchen at LJ Works will act as the stepping stone they need.
Part workspace, part bakery, part community kitchen; it will create a new platform for local food entrepreneurs, and a new place for local people to learn more about food, business and each other.
